OUR STORY
I'm a mum. Most days start before 5am - train at the gym, get the school bus stop drop-off done, then straight into an hour-long commute to work. There's no time for a proper shower after a workout in that window. And honestly, even if there was - I've never liked gym showers, shoes in showers is not clean.
The idea really landed last year, on a long-haul flight through Europe with my family. Economy, multiple legs, new time zones, new climate on the other end - and by the time we were starting our descent, I felt completely feral. Stale, sticky, dressed for the wrong weather, dreading walking off the plane like that. I would have given almost anything for something that actually let me freshen up and get changed properly before landing - not a tiny packet that barely covers one arm.
Once I noticed the gap for myself, I started seeing it everywhere. Shift workers with no shower between jobs. People in recovery who can't shower the normal way. Travellers like I'd just been. Anyone whose day didn't fit neatly around a bathroom. Not to mention people who don't have access to a shower everyday. It wasn't a niche problem - it was just one nobody had bothered to solve properly.
And I'm someone who's a little obsessive about skincare - I don't put anything on my skin without knowing exactly what's in it. So once I decided to build this, a basic wipe was never going to cut it. It had to be bamboo, not synthetic. pH-matched to skin, not just "fragrance-free" on a label. Big enough - 40x80cm - that it does what it claims, with ingredients that meet the same standard as the rest of my routine.
That's INTERIM. For every in-between.
